Cookie Policy
How we use cookies and similar technologies on kcedynamics.com, and how to control them.
Last updated: 24 September 2026
1. What this policy covers
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar storage technologies are, which ones kcedynamics.com uses, why we use them, and how you can manage your preferences — including for visitors in the European Union and European Economic Area, where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the ePrivacy Directive require us to obtain your consent before placing non-essential cookies.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include pixels, tags, and local/session storage in your browser. They can be used to remember your preferences, recognise repeat visits, and measure how a site is used.
3. How we use cookies
How cookies work on kcedynamics.com depends on where you are visiting from. In the EU/EEA, the UK and Switzerland, a consent banner asks you to choose which categories of cookies you allow, and nothing outside the "Necessary" category runs until you say yes. Everywhere else, including Ghana and the United States, analytics cookies are on by default and no banner is shown; you can switch them off at any time from the Cookie Settings link. Marketing cookies stay off for everyone unless you opt in. This is enforced through Google's Consent Mode. To decide which rule applies we look up only your country, through our Cloudflare network.
Necessary
We do not currently set any strictly-necessary cookies of our own. Your cookie choice itself is remembered using your browser's local storage (not a cookie) so we don't have to ask you again on every page.
Analytics
Where analytics is on (see above), we use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed, time on page, and general traffic sources. This sets cookies such as:
| Cookie | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|
| _ga | Distinguishes unique visitors | Up to 2 years |
| _ga_* | Persists session state for Google Analytics 4 | Up to 2 years |
Data is processed by Google. See Google's own Privacy Policy for how they handle it.
Marketing
We don't currently run paid advertising campaigns that set marketing cookies. This category exists in our consent banner so that if we do introduce ad campaigns (e.g. Google Ads remarketing) in future, your existing preference is already respected.
4. Managing your preferences
You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer of any page. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings — see your browser's help pages for instructions, though this may affect how some third-party embeds behave.
5. Legal basis
For visitors in the EU/EEA, the UK and Switzerland, non-essential cookies (analytics and marketing) are only set with your consent, in line with the ePrivacy Directive and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw consent at any time with no effect on the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. Visitors elsewhere can switch analytics off at any time from Cookie Settings, and marketing cookies are only ever set with consent.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data, to object to processing, to request data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
7. Contact us
Questions about this policy or how we handle your data can be sent to kwame@kcedynamics.com.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our use of cookies changes. Material changes will reset the consent banner so you're asked again.
